Killarney Golf & Fishing Club misses out on 2012 Irish Open:

After two successful Irish Opens the tournament is headed to Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland.We would like to wish the European tour and Royal Portrush every success and look forward to seeing an International tournament returning to Killarney in the near future.

Congratulations to David Keating,Brian O Callaghan,Padraig Mcgrath and John Caulfield who won the Peter Houlihan Classic in Doonbeg on Friday 14th October.

The winners head to Kiawah Island after an impressive birdie blitz at the magnificent County Clare venue.

 David Keating is a class AAT PGA Professional.He is currently attached to Killarney Golf & Fishing Club in Co. Kerry, Ireland where he is Head Professional.He joined Killarney in 2008 having spent 10 years as Head Professional at Charleville Golf Club in County Cork.David has been a  P.G.A Professional since 1992 and has earned a reputation as being one of
Irelands leading club professionals, specialising in Golf Instruction and Custom Club Fitting.He has developed highly successful coaching programmes  which have benefitted players of all abilities from beginners to Professional players.

David was Callaway Clubfitter of the Year in 2003.He has been involved with a number of Munster and All Ireland winning teams and is currently the Kerry County Coach.

David looks forward to welcoming you to Killarney Golf & Fishing Club where he will  help you develop your game with the help of our state of the art indoor and outdoor facilities.We will be offering online video tips in 2012 so stay tuned and best wishes for 2012 both on and off the Golf course.
